The Forest is the starting point of the protagonist's journey
The game begins with the boy leaping from a rocky wall. Proceeding rightward, he crosses a fence patrolled by guards and attack dogs.
Further on, the watchmen give chase to the protagonist, and he escapes by jumping into a large pond and proceeding to the farmland.

- Should the protagonist be caught by the watchmen, they will not kill him; rather, they will either strangle the boy, use a chemical rag, or fire tranquilizer darts at him.
